Celine Passeri, Psy.D. CEDS is a licensed psychologist who graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. Dr. Passeri is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and CEDS Supervisor. She specializes in the treatment of Eating Disorders and co-occurring mental health illnesses.

She is currently in private practice in Orlando and the Clinical Advisor at Center for Discovery’s Orlando Residential Eating Disorder Program. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings throughout her career, including the Renfrew Center (Residential Eating Disorder treatment center), the Center for Group Counseling, and Florida Hospital for Children (Child and Family Wellness Center). The Child and Family Wellness Center at Florida Hospital for Children was created with the collaboration and expertise of Dr. Passeri to help address the current pediatric obesity crisis in Central Florida. She created its first psychological department to better address and primarily not overlook the presence of eating disorders and body image issues in children and adolescents facing weight struggles.

Dr. Passeri strongly believes in the importance of raising eating disorders awareness and providing specialized treatment. She is one of the leading members of EDNCF (Eating Disorder Network of Central Florida) and, in February 2011, organized the first NEDA walk in Orlando. She and her team will celebrate their 9th Annual Eating Disorders Awareness Walk on October 27th, 2019. She is also one of the founders of the yearly EDNCF scholarship program, which provides eating disorders treatment funds to families and individuals in need. She is a chair member of the IAEDP Orlando chapter, and currently serves as the Education Chair.

Originally from Saint Martin in the Caribbean, Dr. Passeri is bilingual and provides therapy in both English and French.
