Center for Discovery Orlando is hosting their quarterly Family Day in-person, providing education, support, and hope to all.
Dr. Celine Passeri will be presenting on Sunday, September 15th at 1 pm. She explore during her presentation the impact of eating disorders within the dance community, a group often characterized by its emphasis on physical appearance and performance standards. She will highlight the unique pressures dancers face, such as the demand for a specific body type and the culture of perfectionism, which can contribute to the development of disordered eating behaviors. This presentation will delve into the signs and symptoms of eating disorders, emphasizing the importance of early detection and intervention.
This presentation is offered through the Central Florida IAEDP Chapter. This training is limited to eating disorders professionals only.

Dr. Celine Passeri and her guest of honor, Dr. Lonna Gordon, MD, will be live on Tuesday, August 26th to discuss the importance of evidence-based medical care in the treatment of eating disorders.
