Eating Disorders Specialists

Celine Passeri

Celine Passeri, Psy.D. CEDS-S is a licensed psychologist who graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. Dr. Passeri is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and CEDS Supervisor. She specializes in the treatment of Eating Disorders and co-occurring mental health illnesses.


She is currently in private practice in Orlando and the Clinical Advisor at Center for Discovery’s Orlando Residential Eating Disorder Program. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings throughout her career, including the Renfrew Center (Residential Eating Disorder treatment center), the Center for Group Counseling, and Florida Hospital for Children (Child and Family Wellness Center). The Child and Family Wellness Center at Florida Hospital for Children was created with the collaboration and expertise of Dr. Passeri to help address the current pediatric obesity crisis in Central Florida. She created its first psychological department to better address and primarily not overlook the presence of eating disorders and body image issues in children and adolescents facing weight struggles.


Dr. Passeri strongly believes in the importance of raising eating disorders awareness and providing specialized treatment. She is one of the leading members of EDNCF (Eating Disorder Network of Central Florida) and, in February 2011, organized the first NEDA walk in Orlando. She and her team will celebrate their 9th Annual Eating Disorders Awareness Walk on October 27th, 2019. She is also one of the founders of the yearly EDNCF scholarship program, which provides eating disorders treatment funds to families and individuals in need. She is a chair member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP) for their Central Florida chapter, and currently serves as the Education Chair. In 2020, Dr. Celine Passeri joined the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness team and is currently supporting their vision of hope by taking on the Orlando affiliate co-chair position.


Originally from Saint Martin in the Caribbean, Dr. Passeri is bilingual and provides therapy in both English and French. 

Sharon Rojo

Sharon Rojo is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. It was her desire for helping others that influenced her decision to pursue a career in mental health. She dedicated her graduate work to working with at-risk teens, which lead her to discover a passion in counseling adolescents and young adults. 


Sharon believes in the impact a person’s adolescent years can have in shaping their adulthood. She specializes in treating adolescents and adults struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, self-harm behaviors, and eating disorders. Sharon has been working with clients struggling with eating disorders and anxiety since 2007. She has extensive experience treating eating disorders in the residential and outpatient level of care (PHP and IOP). 


She has worked in some of Florida’s best treatment facilities for eating disorders, including Oliver-Pyatt Centers and Center for Discovery. Sharon is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). She understands that what might work for one client may not work for another. Therefore, her therapeutic approach is individualized to meet her client’s needs. 


During her spare time, Sharon loves spending time with her husband and two children. Her interests include traveling, spending time outdoors, listening to podcasts, and cooking. Originally from Miami, FL and of Colombian descent, Sharon is bilingual in English and Spanish. 



Christina Senesi

Christina Senesi is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).  She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring mental health illnesses, including anxiety, life transitions, depression,  and trauma related disorders. She is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Christina has extensive experience working with  children and adults suffering from eating disorders, anxiety and body image fears.     


Christina attended the University of Central Florida where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Throughout her time at UCF, Christina spent time interning at inpatient psychiatric hospitals, working with survivors of intimate partner violence, and facilitating weekly courses to high school students on dating abuse prevention and awareness. Christina went on to receive her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College with an additional certification in College and University Counseling, where she specialized in working with college aged students and the LGBTQIA community. Throughout her time at Rollins, Christina gained experience working in a variety of settings including substance abuse agencies, providing HIV testing to the community, and working in academic advising with undergraduate students on academic probation. She completed her internship at the University of Central Florida's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offering both individual and group psychotherapy to college students of all gender identities. She facilitated diverse groups, including a Body Wellness group as well as organized events and presentations for National Eating Disorder Awareness Week (NEDA). 


Christina has dedicated her work to helping clients presenting with eating disorders and body image issues. Christina has specialized experience working with children, young adults, and adults. She has provided both individual and group psychotherapy. In addition, she ran weekly individual therapeutic meal support sessions with both children and adults suffering from eating disorders. Her ability to build genuine rapport and provide a compassionate clinical environment has helped her clients feel more at ease and able to overcome triggers associated with eating meals. Christina's passion for working with eating disorders stems from her innate belief that her clients are resilient and capable of recovery and she feels honored to provide support through all stages of their recovery process. Christina views herself as a partner walking alongside clients on their journey towards rediscovering themselves outside of their eating disorder and overcoming barriers preventing them from living the life they hope to lead. In her spare time, Christina enjoys exploring nature, trying new local restaurants, and spending time with her dog.  

Jenelle Coolidge

 Jenelle Coolidge is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma.  Jenelle has been a member of the eating disorder community since 2012. And is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient care. Jenelle also currently works as an on-call therapist at the Renfrew Center, the nation's first eating disorder treatment facility, assisting patients with their eating disorder recovery. 


Jenelle treats eating disorders using a variety of theoretical orientations, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is currently in the process of becoming a certified eating disorder specialist and recently completed her MATCH (Modular Approach to Therapy for Children) training.  


Jenelle strongly believes in the significance of self-love, body image positivity, and wellbeing. She is passionate about her work and finds meaning in helping her clients find their way towards recovery.  


Originally from Miami, Florida; Jenelle is bilingual in English and Spanish and has had extensive experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.


Jenelle is a mother of two adorable children and enjoys spending time with her husband and children at Disney World, traveling, reading, and is a big fan of Science Fiction.
