Celine Passeri, Psy.D. CEDS-S is a licensed psychologist who graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. Dr. Passeri is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and CEDS Supervisor. She specializes in the treatment of Eating Disorders and co-occurring mental health illnesses.
She is currently in private practice in Orlando and the Clinical Advisor at Center for Discovery’s Orlando Residential Eating Disorder Program. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings throughout her career, including the Renfrew Center (Residential Eating Disorder treatment center), the Center for Group Counseling, and Florida Hospital for Children (Child and Family Wellness Center). The Child and Family Wellness Center at Florida Hospital for Children was created with the collaboration and expertise of Dr. Passeri. She created its first psychological department in order to effectively address the presence of eating disorders and body image issues in children and adolescents facing weight-based oppression.
Dr. Passeri strongly believes in the importance of raising eating disorders awareness and providing specialized treatment. She is one of the leading members of EDNCF (Eating Disorder Network of Central Florida) and, in February 2011, organized the first NEDA walk in Orlando. She and her team will celebrate their 9th Annual Eating Disorders Awareness Walk on October 27th, 2019. She is also one of the founders of the yearly EDNCF scholarship program, which provides eating disorders treatment funds to families and individuals in need. She is a chair member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP) for their Central Florida chapter, and currently serves as the Education Chair. In 2020, Dr. Celine Passeri joined the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness team and is currently supporting their vision of hope by taking on the Orlando affiliate co-chair position.
Originally from Saint Martin in the Caribbean, Dr. Passeri is bilingual and provides therapy in both English and French.
Sharon Rojo (she/her) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. It was her desire for helping others that influenced her decision to pursue a career in mental health. She dedicated her graduate work to working with at-risk teens, which lead her to discover a passion in counseling adolescents and young adults.
Sharon believes in the impact a person’s adolescent years can have in shaping their adulthood. She specializes in treating adolescents and adults struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, self-harm behaviors, body image, and eating disorders. Sharon has been working with clients struggling with eating disorders, body image and anxiety since 2007. She has extensive experience treating eating disorders in the residential and outpatient level of care (PHP and IOP).
She has worked in some of Florida’s best treatment facilities for eating disorders, including Oliver-Pyatt Centers and Center for Discovery. Sharon is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). She understands that what might work for one client may not work for another. Therefore, her therapeutic approach is individualized to meet her client’s needs.
During her spare time, Sharon loves spending time with her husband and two children. Her interests include traveling, spending time outdoors, listening to podcasts, and cooking. Originally from Miami, FL and of Colombian descent, Sharon is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Danielle Goldman (she/her) is a Carolyn Costin Institute Certified Eating Disorder Recovery Coach (CCIEDC). She has been treating Eating Disorders since 2014. She has worked in various Eating Disorder settings, including residential treatment centers, partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), and outpatient care. She works with children, adolescents and adults. She treats all eating disorders, including Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, and ARFID.
Danielle has a special passion for working with adolescents, young adults as well as, based on personal experience, with new moms navigating recovery and the LGBT+ community. Danielle personally recovered from an eating disorder and holds a deep passion for helping others achieve full recovery. Using her lived experience, she is grateful to connect and relate to those she works with while serving as a positive guide and role model. She brings both compassion and humor to her relational approach and individualizes care based on each individual's needs. Danielle is a firm supporter of Health At Every Size and Intuitive Eating, holding a weight-neutral approach to eating disorders treatment.
In her personal life, Danielle values community and connection through quality time with friends and family as well as traveling for line dancing events. Danielle enjoys watching Netflix, Disney, crocheting, exploring new restaurants and foods, playing games, and going on silly adventures.
